 closure of wisma atria 30 Sep 06 - so rush down to take pictures of this wonderful walkway… that i have been using since secondary school…thats slightly more than 10 years ago…. ok i am older now… sigh… still remember staying up very late to read up on history… end up earning a C6… hahaha… the more popular songs on the radio then was Shoop Shoop by Whitney…

went to chinatown to watch the lightup… ok la… its after they are lit up… but the road was still closed… had to park at this really unique carpark… its triangular and behind OG and People’s Park market…. Gerald says it is haunted… but its really a nice building that is not like the typical multi-story carpark … it is a slope throughout no flat landing… probably the first multi-storey carpark by HDB. okay… maybe i am the few who appreciates buildings…

chinatown… ah… the place where u eat and eat… hahaha… if u happen to go down… please remember to buy egg tarts and lao po bing from this shophouse facing the under construction temple… follow the crowd during day time… u wont get it wrong… it usually has long queues….

and of cos there are somethings that i find rather disturbing… on yesterday’s straits times… they reported that there were more hiv positive cases and young boys in their teens were the victims… hey… come on… if you are hiv positive… please do not have sex with anyone anymore… do not kill others with your evil ways… these are young boys… n they do have a future… if u r doom, so be it… do not impose your misery on young lives… and say no to flowers on your shirt… its unsightly

whatever happen? its 2plus in the wee morning… news about military coup in thailand… switch on the tv… its flickering… no newscasters… only repeated text reports flashing on the screen…

a planned holiday to bangkok… now seems impossible… 2 months of planning… and this did not materialise…

money… unlikely to recover… sigh… i will just eat bread till my next payday la

whatever happen? why happen now? sigh

but the good thing is… i am still in Singapore… unsure of what to do next…

yeah~~ weekend weekend… i look forward to every weekend! well this week is exceptionally fun

i went to sim lim and bought the maxtor one touch 40GB external hard-disk and then went to orchard to renew my bangkok tour guide book… then at taka… they have this wonderful mooncake festival sales… n i went munching on different mooncakes… yum yum… saw a couple of finger-licking finger food… yum yum… the green-tea ice-cream i had is really nice and it is rolled out by using a machine…

i went to victoria hall… n spotted alot of IMF cars! really nice and techie BMWs… when will i own one…

then today… i went to sentosa… lots of young folks there… yeah… me getting old… n i feel it… sigh… it was mostly cloudy and windy… its a nice feeling lying on the beach n let the breeze blow your body… so relaxing…

met steve… again… i think its fated la… i meet him so many times out of the blue ever since i know him while i am in army… he is movie fanatic… he recommended "the banquet"… but its another zhang ziyi movie to me… i am jealous of this gal… and she is on 8 days and i weekly mags this week… sigh… such a famous rich gal… sigh sigh

anyway… i am still wondering where my money goes to… every time i go out… its like spending money… sigh sigh

i saw the bag again… left 2 pieces… n… as usual… i went to touch it.. then left the store without buying… i mean… the bag i am carrying… although its my brother’s is still usable… no need to waste money on it

i saw news on hat tai bomb… hmmm hmmm hope it doesn’t happen in bangkok… hope it is all well and safe…

hey guys, thank you so much for making it such a wonderful night… i guess its not just us… i saw a couple of friends gathering session going on… thank you so much

you know… one year had passed since we graduated… and this bunch of us the poly-uni mates… gathered at hereen for a night of laughter and silly recollection and getting to know each other again… is really heart-warming

your faces… somehow… i look very closely… have developed dark eye rings… wus-up? haha… but replace that with a meatier face… hmmm… something is kinda wrong… for me… i have been eating alot hence the puffy face… if u compare it to my younger-day photos… but i hope i dun have dark eye rings…

you guys must be working real hard… bread and butter issues… raising a family… exchanging of name cards… and the silly debates of housing loans, prices and salaries… we really ARE old… sigh

i think working zapped us of youth… and paying off loans… we borrowed for studies… sigh… do you really want to be reminded? not me…

one year… one bloody damn boring year… changes… more change perhaps… older… puffy cheeks… dark eye rings… spare tires… and tiredness… how good can working life be?

hey guys, you need to take extra care of your health and do have a change of lifestyle… ok? life is short… do what you can to enjoy

imagine… those legs… you ride on everyday… tough job… but without them… we may not be mobile… bless u legs… i am going bangkok the following week… somehow… i am looking forward to it… alot… much more than taiwan or hongkong… dun ask me why… i cannot explain it… perhaps… there is one part of me… my past life… that was thai… i dunno… strange things does happen…

jetstar sent me an email … i just read it… it said that my flight will go to the new Suvarnabhumi Airport … okie… that will be east of bangkok… much further than the current airport… i will probably take some pics for you guys… i tried searching the web on how the airport looks like… hmmm seems like most of the links were taken off except for this picture… kinda small though

some of you know where i live… but most dont… i remember in 1997… my 2nd year in poly… my parents sold our home in tampines… and moved to yishun… its actually a risk we took… because our tampines flat is a few months short of 5 years… then my parents doesn’t have enough cash to pay for the deposit… of cos… we went around asking relatives… my father side… is terrible… my 5th aunt who controls most of the money… is reluctant… and being a bank officer… wanted to charge bank interest for the loan… its ridiculous… but whatever… my relationship with her soured for many years… and its still like that because.. of some hurtful words she said to me… well… i am trying hard not to think of the shit… well… lets move on… it turns out beautifully… n i must say… i love looking at stars on my bed at night… its a dream… n i have fulfilled it… everyday… after a stressful day… the sky is my outlet… life is beautiful… when problems are small compared to what is happening to others in the world… we are so lucky

actually my main purpose of writing… is to let you folks know how erm… RP is like… welfare… to the staff.. we have our own karaoke room… complete with curvy sofa and a huge collection of songs… erm… and a huge dinning room… complete with restaurant-like entrance, tables and chairs, and a big empty kitchen… the huge conference like sofas… hmmm looks like a play chess area… and my favourite… of all… is a room with 2 billard tables… n some very free acad staff playing pool… shit! i caught them red handed…

yes, i think i am lost… it is the most frustrating thought that can make me go bongus… but its ok… these are just part of life… it can be better

i saw this very familiar scene in toa payoh… its like the one taken out from "fast and furious - tokyo" movie… if you have watched the movie… you will know what i am talking about… it is the scene where they drive up the carpark curve ramp to reach the finishing line…

i realised the phone has taken more than a thousand pictures… hahaha thats fast… i posed a thought to my best pal yesterday… and i should share it with you… haha… i am thinking of settling down… so strange right… sigh… but it is going to be difficult… if you have been hanging around with me for a long while… you will know what i mean… so for close friends, they know what i mean…

the best known fact if you don’t already know when you are at ang mo kio central… is to head down to tip-top curry puff shop behind jubilee movie theatre… it is mentioned all the time that this is the curry puff store you will want to put your fangs into… the crispy crust with huge chucks of spicy potatoes freshly out of the oven… it costs 90 cents the last i visited it… a few weeks back (sigh)  … please do not eat too many… it is very heaty and it can make you fall sick… thats my experience and i have learnt it many years ago…

Some of you know where my favourite spot in Singapore is… yes, it is the Singapore River… by the big black bird… i used to sit there and wonder what goes on in those big tall buildings behind the bird… and if one day… i will be silly enough to be on that side of the wall… roughing my way through the jungle pile of work and stuggling to survive just to earn enough cash… well… i am experiencing something like that… work is not a joy … at this moment… when i know what i want and i can enjoy… perhaps that will be the day… when working is an extension to your life… but now… it is still separated by a wall…

Like many Singaporeans and visitors… national day is like… fireworks galore… when everyone just want to catch a glimpse of this expensive fleeting moment… i tell you… its a few minutes of standstill… where everyone stands still… comments erupted every few seconds to compliment the sight… its silly but thats how bored everyone is in singapore… fireworks …. something much anticipated… national day?… it is a day of fireworks… and more fireworks leading to it… hmmm

RP is always different in most ways… so some department in the creative part of education decided to come out with balloons on water… added compliments to Mrs Wind… we cant help blowing… so fun… with almost nothing but a thin metal sheet on the circumference… the balloons flew like ducks in the water… how smart and innovative…. should be fun chasing the balloons and rounding them up =P

That is my boss… and his marriage… it is arranged… after a year… they got married… if you don’t already know… he is the one in white.. yes, not the bride… hahaha…. it is really funny how you can dictate your life… like… that…

You have seen him on TV as the whiz drummer who plays the drums by ear… well i pity him… because he is jus a kid who wants to play… games… what is his parents thinking? riding on his kid’s talent? sigh… and the kid… is so unhelpful… can’t he help his father keep the drum set? what will visitors think? a snobbish kid and a father who uses his kid? i hope they will stop this and let the kid have some fun… if his dad really wants his kid to do well… let him do what he wants…. like play games… he is a child afterall…

you know how i love buildings… this one is really quirky… something taken out from Batman movie perhaps? a sci-fi scene in waiting… its actually the Expo MRT lift… so nice… the spaceship disc… the transporter up to the inner realms… peace man, peace… expo has become a huge playground for mega sales… the one i went to yesterday… comex… it derives from computer exhibition… hmm it has other things like… credit card companies trying to sell you their card so you can slide the card on credit.. hahaha… so smart…. a car company trying to sell fiat cars… you know… fiat cars are so flat.. they look ugly.. whatever… and what did i spot… SD cards selling at less than 20 dollars??? sigh… its getting cheaper

then in the morning today… i grab my dog… and let her sleep on my bed… she curled up like a ball beside me… hohoho… then i try to tickle her… to wake her up… hahahaha… evil…. but thats me la…  =)
