well, today is a very special day because is 29 Feb… how many are there? haaa i went to ah-meng’s grave today… they gave her a nice resting place… next to the reservoir… and surrounded by plants

i met ah-meng once… i can’t remember the year… probably in 1980s… i was at the zoo with my family and cousins… and ah-meng happen to be sittin there with a zoo-keeper… something like lunch… but with baskets of fruits laid on the table…

curious, i asked my mum who was that… my mum said its ah meng… well, i didn’t fancy the ape species so much… so i decided to walk away… as i was doing that… the zoo-keeper asked me to come over… i hesitated of course… but my mum urged me on and assured me that the orang utan is friendly…  so walked over… and the zoo keeper asked me to sit in front of ah-meng… i sat… and the next thing i know…ah-meng’s huge hands tapped my shoulders… and sling over my chest.. yikes!!! i saw those hairy arms with orange hair….. and her skin is dark brown… almost black… yikes… i gave my mum a frightened look and decided to move away from ah-meng… but ah-meng is very professional… she held me back so that i could take a photo with her… wahahahahahahah

aiyah… i didnt know where the photo is now… should have let you see…

so … today i went to her grave and visit this old friend….the one that gave me my hairy arms… wahahahahaha

just how did a highly dangerous figure escape the walls of "high security" detention centre? perhaps it is at this crucial moment, alot of things are not answered, i am dying to know. how? why? when? what? who? whom? Straits times never give us that answer… instead we were fed with info like the escapee’s background, the detention centre’s security and experts’ views on this breach of security.

but i do not want to know all these… i want to know how did it happen? when did it happen? why did it happen? what caused this to happen? …

true… you have all the depressing pictures of army officers, police and so forth searching everywhere… but how did he escape in the first place?

please i want to know… it is no laughing matter and we have the right to know what happen and what has to be done to prevent similar incident from happening

i was walking at suntec yesterday with my best friend… and we usually walk into this shop at the basement… its called pets village… they sell the most exotic rabbits you can ever find…

but yesterday was very special… because i saw these two rabbits in a glass cage and there was a notice pasted on the glass… $99 each… that is probably the cheapest these rabbits go….

they are very very very cute… the black one is a darwf rabbit the golden blackish rabbit is a palomino rabbit… although they are different breed… they are indeed very close to each other… of course i have seen them previously in that same cage but yesterday they displayed affection for each other…

they are three months old… and i really hope they will get a good home… and whoever decides to buy one of them… please get the other rabbit…these two female rabbits are very close to each other…

ok, if you are really tempted to find out for yourself. please go to suntec, take the escalator in front of the giodano shop… when you are at the foot of the escalator on basement, turn to your left, and turn left again… you will see the rabbits staring at you… walk straight up and you will be able to see them

true, i do want to jump around in lightning speed to various places at the blink of my eye. true, i want to choose between hot and cold climate with ease. true, i yearn for more money, heaps and piles of cold hard cash that i can spend on without having to work a single day for them. true, i love to escape to someplace at some desert land with sun screen and shades. true, i have lots of desires and probably not a single one i can write here on this blog. true, i fantasize supernatural powers and hope a bad guy will chase me around trying to harm me. true, i have many dreams and like the big friendly giant able to store them in jugs and perhaps use them whenever i like.

you see, i am a guy with simple wants and tons of needs… haha but it is my mind that takes me away to places and sometimes reality bites… it is not a good thing though. i think i am dangerous.

so i am having flashbacks of jumper in my head now… and it is worse for my best friend… he has fits… it is a cycle, a vicious one if you are like me and best friend… who traverse to and fro between fiction and non-fiction… sometimes the line is blurred

some people hav commented that my blog is very emo… haaa but that’s me la… i may not talk the most at social gatherings… but ya everything is in my head… sorry folks… i know i’m such a bore

i’m going to share with you… what i did these past few days… pretty exciting…ate alot

yes, i do remember the first time we met… you can call it incidental… if i haven’t place my profile online… maybe i wouldn’t have met you… but its just fate that you msg me… but really at that time i wasn’t looking for anyone, it was my bro who introduced me…

i still remember the day my first dog, belle, passed away… it was terrible… she went away on my birthday… and what a terrible birthday it was… i took taxi to my dad’s office in tuas… drove his car back home… took belle into my arms and drove her to the doc… she was weak… i remembered my mum’s worried look and belle’s poor body limp as she struggled to look at us with her doe eyes… it was then the doc said we had better prepare ourselves… that my mind went blank… we brought her home… and my dad decided to bring her to the vet at pleasant hill… belle was put on a drip… and doc said the same thing… feeling lost… we drove home… with belle in our arms… me holding on to the drip… :(… i remembered the air was still and everything around us seemed blur… i remembered me sobbing… tears were flowing… we reached home… belle just wanted to snuggle in our arms… as we placed her on the floor… she gasped her last breathe… and struggled… she didn’t move after that… we cried… it was the most terrible night… we didn’t even have time to switch on the lights… we were in darkness… and there we cried…

it was much later that we decided to drive back to pleasant hill… we cried in the car… my mum had placed belle in a plastic container… big enough for belle to rest… the journey there was long and i lost count of time… we reached the place… the vets came out… they examined belle… pronounced her dead… and said we should leave belle there… my dad made the arrangements and we left…

it was three days later… that you messaged me… i told you what happened… and it was then i decided to give myself some breather… to go out… and meet you… at your friend’s exhibition… and that’s where we met for the first time…

it is the lunar new year and i don’t know why… it feels like any other day… the only difference is that its 2 days of public holiday haaaa…. and of cos meeting my relatives… once a year… its funny how they don’t change much… come to think of it… when do i see my relatives more often?… hmmm maybe when there is something sad held at the void deck… blah… choy~

  oh… then there is last week’s 8days cover which i totally adore… think i will frame it up… its lovely felicia chin looking like a demure mouse who needs a good hug… wahahahaha …. i do think felicia is getting hotter as she age… and she is almost there with sexy fiona xie…. in case you have forgotten about her… i don’t blame you… cos life is like that… we are all fickle minded and you need constant reminders… ditto to relationship… don’t always believe that because you are in a relationship… it means that you are automatically linked to your partner forever… you have to have constant reminders… meet up, call, etc erm… to maintain that platform of ‘togetherness’…

sometimes pple do take for granted that your partner will be there forever… on call all the time… 24 hours… your only soul mate… but in reality… everyone has their own lives… and if you happen to fit into the schedule… great… if not, you just have to wait right?… well… that’s the selfish thought…

so what is not selfish? maybe dropping all work and rush over to meet and be on call 24 hours… all the time… that is selfless…

but when taken for granted that these will happen… it became tiresome and probably meaningless…

been super busy recently and i don’t have time to update my blog… but i will do so… hahaha… but i’m left with only a few mins now…

my recent penang trip was really Fun… beside getting fever and down with flu… haha… ya when i was there… i spotted some really funny shop names… they are very literal… so you can guess what they are selling… but what is interesting … is they incorporated funny adjectives or pun to it

let’s start with this one…. poly shoe… okay… notice the singular… so its a shoe for polytechnic students? hmmm

the next one… er… bread history… wahahahaha okay that’s not very nice… i don’t want a stale bread or some goner
