8 Days, the mag of course, is getting very ’sex’ recently. But it kind of exploded this week with the ’sleepover sessions’. On the cover is Daren Tan, Jade Seah, Fiona Xie, Nat Ho, and Dawn Yang all spread out nicely with many white pillows. Damn, why am i not in there? I just have to examine the cover. Fake. Their faces are airbrushed to the extend you can hardly spot a pore on the face. Why is Daren lifting his singlet to expose his tummy… I mean stomach… no, I mean abs. Damn. For someone with none, I do feel jealous. I hear it is in-born and i have assure myself that i will never get it. Haha… You sure know why they are picked but Fiona is in a different category. She is a seductress!
Need further proof? This girl is a man’s fantasy. And I am talking all types of men. When ask which guy she most wants in her bed, she suggests Mr Sandman (the character in the movie Spiderman 3) because she wants to say to him, "Why are you so rough?" Gasp!! The sleeping beauty has to be cuddled to fall asleep. Did I mention I love that too? Hint hint. But I love her answers, they are straight forward yet naughty and full of hidden meanings. Take this for example - what she likes her partner to wear in bed… "who said i had partners - I am still a virgin, touched for the very first time." WOOO-AAHHHH I almost fell off my chair with this one. Very intelligent indeed. It may seem to answer nothing at all but at least her personality comes across in text. That is what I will call true celebrity. The rest of her ‘pray mates’ in this photoshoot has alot more to learn. And I am not sure what Daren wants to do in bed with Nat when he was quoted twice that "the girls are keeping us apart" and "I can’t say Nat, right?" when asked who among his four cover co-stars he most wants to be in bed with. haha okay la Nat, I am not joking about you. You are the most decently dressed (wearing just pyjamas) unlike Daren who is topless and shaved (arm pits, I mean). And it is true, Nat is no party person. Haha
If 8 Days asks me those questions (ok, I am just imagining that I am a star) I will surely answer them as vaguely as Fiona. And when I am positioned in bed, I want to be behind her. Those pillows are huge, you know.

SHOCKING NEWS - Sixteen Gantries along a 12 km Expressway!!! Well, you may have missed out on the news. It was reported in TODAY newspaper. http://www.todayonline.com/articles/273358.asp
That will surely make it to the Guinness World Record! If not, the Singapore Books. Wah LAU!
And what stupid excuses!!! Let me drag them out from the article.
(1) Long underground expressway poses greater safety concerns
(2) they are part of the infrastructure of the expressway to ensure that authorities "can act in a timely manner to prevent congestion from building up so as to enhance the safety of motorists"
(3) the rationale is "unique" to KPE due to safety concerns
wahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
KPE has become the official STUPIDest expressway Singapore has ever built. Why build it in the first place?
I share the same sentiments as holey baloney. http://blog.holeybaloney.com/?p=670

I have been wondering who is this person impersonating me. For the record, if you search the blogsphere there is another webmice on the prowl. You need to know that webmice is a nickname I created since 1996 and have been using it since then. My first email webmice@yahoo.com was claimed by someone when I didnt use it for more than 3 months. That is why I started webmice1. So this person on blogger http://www.blogger.com/profile/16628210099746253432 is not me. His profile only has one entry dated Dec 2006. I don’t live in Hong Kong and I am not overweight. I won’t claim to be handsome to. That is something I will never do. And I only have my blog tagged to Ping.sg. I also have a blog on blogger but I never use it. I recently reactivated my livejournal account but on that I have indicated that I will maintain only one blog on Friendster.

Who is to blame when the price is not right? Is it consumers or Telco? An analyst from consulting firm Ovum, Nathan Burley, predicted the price of iPhone to cost S$270 [1] in Singapore after operator discounts. Of course, he is wrong. Our three telcos will never price it that way, not when demand is sky high and monopoly comes into play. To milk all that iPhone is worth, Singtel being the first telco to sell has announced on 24 August 2008 that it is "making the iPhone 3G affordable for everyone". [2] Of course not! Do not be fooled. Three expensive plans on the platter will eventually tie you down for two years. The least expensive is iFlexi Value, which has a subscription of $56 per month with 200 mins outgoing free local calls and 500 free local sms. And corporate individual scheme plan is not applicable. Hah. Not to mention, you still have to pay for a one-time registration fee of $10.70 amd SIM card charge of $32.10 for new subscribers.
Being a cheapo, I have been subscribing to the sub-$25 per month plans. You can’t blame me. With increasing expenses, I have to find avenues to cut. How else can I indulge in my favourite past-time - EATING?
For those who are blinded by the many offers in the bundle, please open your eyes bigger to spot the superscript numericals - caller ID is free for 3 months (for new lines only), autoroaming is free for 12 months. If you do not want to pay for silly gimicks like Colour-Me-Tones and SMS Plus, remember to call the operator to opt out after one month and three months respectively. The promotion is attractive now till 5 Sept because local data is free for the two years. This basically covers quite a substantial amount if you ask me.
Now, the interesting thing is it will still cost you at least $348 for 8GB iPhone 3g on iFlexi Value plan. Unless you have a good employer who happens to pay for your phone bills, then go for the iFlexi Premium and get the phone for free.
For the record, I am going to adopt a wait-and-see approach. Afterall, I am still a fan of Starhub. So, please don’t disappoint me Starhub. Give me and your supporters a better deal when you launch the iPhone at the end of the year.

The truth is out! The two table tennis teams fighting it out at 7.30pm (Singapore Time) tonight have coaches who are brothers. Straits Times reported it in two sentences but there is more to the eye. Singapore’s coach Liu Guodong and Liu Guoliang, China’s men’s team coach, are brothers. Not only that, Li Jiawei once were teammates with Zhang Yining, the world number one for women’s Table Tennis! It is a battle between the "Elite" versus the "Dropouts". WHO~ will take the gold medal and spit at the other team? Let’s find out tonight.

I love watching table tennis… so drama leh… but it left me wondering why they are not spokesperson for jewellery… just look at the many close-ups of their gold chains and nasty ear rings. I couldn’t take my eyes off Jiawei’s dazzling one piece diamond studded pendant. Wahahaha~ for goodness sake why must they where so many blings when competing. The Koreans were wearing chokers leh… you mean it is very comfortable?
it left me wondering why Wang Yue Gu is in the team. the beaver-eye lady was bouncing around while in her singles segment. she was totally out of form and lost three sets in a row. bleh.
it also left me thinking if Li Jiawei is overrated. first of all, although she won the doubles set with Yue Gu but her nerves always get the better of her in the singles and lost. I don’t think she is getting better.
Contrary, a totally unknown Feng Tianwei outwitted her opponents twice!!! yes and both singles. Which means… technically Tianwei is the strongest in the team. She must credit her tomboyish look. She is the one to look out for!
This morning Glen and FD were talking about giving these Chinese ladies English names… at least it is more pronounceable to the two popular DJs. At first Glen suggested LV for Jiawei and Panda Brand for Yue Gu. How appropriate leh… then Glen tried to be funny to say Jiawei looks like a Carol. But after awhile, I think Glen is correct. Jiawei does look like a Carol and Yue Gu is called Geraldine… for I dunno what good reason. Anyway, I have a better name for Yue Gu… Beaver!~ She does look like one during those slow-mo replays. Tianwei should be called Tanya… she does look like Tanya Chua when she first made a name for herself in Taiwan.
Anyway, it is really a good time to rejoice because this team of imports from China has finally end the Olympics medal drought for Singapore. Yeah~ I wonder why we never produce good locally born and bred sportsmen. WHY WHY WHY~ even Tao Li did something proud for Singapore… what about the real Singaporeans? I wonder if these four ladies will ever stay and grow old in Singapore.

it may seem like i went penang with a bunch of jokers but seriously they are great company to be with. it is a well spent trip with twenty-six different individuals and two coaches who aren’t exactly fun to hang out with. maybe it is the way coaches do… they do not want to be seen as having fun or being an ass in front of their disciples. that is not me… i like to be seen as part of them. they can joke and make fun of me… and i will laugh. hmmm i’m enjoying self praise today. wahahaha
this picture shows how the telok bahang dam in Penang looks like… quite nice hor? it’s actually high up among the hills. I’m not sure if it is man made but its beautiful.
i took this picture at 3pm and the sun was glaring. this was on 31 july… and we just braved 11 hours of extremely cold bus ride from Singapore… we arrived at approx 11.30am… checked into hotel and took the bus to the competition site. i ended up nearly throwing up while traveling to the venue… hmmm if you have never been to the road along penang’s batu ferringhi… you won’t understand what i am talking about… its basically a winding road that has the word AWAS… or "Danger"… and cars are overtaking and speeding on that road… any wrong move will result in landing in the sea… blah~
The first race was terrible… its 2,000m and you have a 500m race course made of floats… and due to exhausion… the boys were truely confused by the rules of this event… they were supposed to row in the outer lane and to turn in a gradual curve… instead the coxman… that’s the person steering the boat… made very sharp turns… so finally at the last turn… towards the finishing line…. he made a drastic turn that resulted in going into the wrong lane and the boat was halted and a penalty of 5 seconds was imposed… er you may think that is nothing but it is alot… so other boats caught up and eventually the team came in last for that event… booo
you must be questioning my photography skills now when you look at this picture… wahaha but really what intrigued me was this tower in the middle of the dam… its really majestic and i wonder what purpose it serves… and of course the boys were stretching their arms after rowing 2,000m… it looks quite in unison hor? wahahaha ok i have strange way of looking at things but i think its a nice picture although it looks abit slanted.
the next day was 200m… which was supposed to be an event the boys are very familar with but the other teams from around the world are simply too strong… oh i must tell you… we did video recording of all the races and guess what is our conclusion? the Ang Mos have really huge and long arms… when they paddle… we asians paddle twice to cover the distance they did it at one go… hmmm do you think it is fair? in the end, the asian teams look weird… paddling many times faster than what they usually do… its like a few minutes of mad splashing of water so that the teams can be on par with their european counterparts. and when they are on land… they stand like giants over the asians… the asian girls… especially the japs love these giants… they even go to the extent of allowing the giants to hold them by the waist and lift them off the ground… hmmm a sign of submission, i think
but what i like about the team is… they are able to put their grudges aside and paddle together… ya la there were some emo voicing of opinions but hey… they are human too… its natural… so on the last day… we have 500m races and its so good to be able to reach plate finals… hmm that’s like the third tier or 3rd division finals… but whatever… the team did well and better their personal best… its the experience they gained and knowledge they can share with their fellow team mates who didnt have the chance to go for this trip… it is a good experience overall
what a bunch of nice people to hang out with… i think i learn quite alot from them too
